The Legends of Kansas primary goal is simple: To unite and support current and former KU athletes. No if’s, and’s, or but’s. All Legends of Kansas Board members work pro-bono, and donated funds go directly to supporting KU athletes via NIL deals and coordinated events. LOK practices caution and care in allocating every dollar.

Supporting all KU student athletes is the mission of the Legends of Kansas.  With an executive board made up of exclusively former student athletes, we are the most equipped to provide mentorship, encouragement, networking opportunities and NIL engagement to current KU athletes.

CURRENT PLAYER SUPPORT

We understand the balance of attending a top tier university, college athletics, and gaining professional experience. LOK provides mentorship programs, networking opportunities, soft skills training, and professional development resources after an athletic career ends.

NIL Programs

The NIL landscape for athletes is changing. 90% of all LOK donations go directly to the student athlete, and all board members work pro-bono. Every contribution big or small brings us closer to providing a championship experience for KU student athletes.  

ALUMNI RELATIONS

LOK provides a platform for every former KU student athlete to gather through organized events like tailgates, watch parties, and social events. By creating a database of former athletes, alumni can connect over multiple generations.

ABOUT THE BOARD

As former KU athletes themselves, the Legends of Kansas board members have a deep understanding of the social and financial needs of current and former KU student athletes. They are deeply invested in the KU sports programs and have an innate passion to help create a foundation of support for all KU athletes.
